Chateau Cos d'Estournel 2010

A major name among the great wines of Saint-Estèphe, Château Cos d'Estournel enjoys an exceptional geographical location. Indeed, its vineyard is located on the edge of the plateau, in the immediate vicinity of the Gironde estuary. The vineyard thus benefits from a maritime climate while being protected from inclement weather. The vines are planted on two slopes and a central plateau, benefiting from ideal exposure and good ventilation.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dense and deep, unveiling a lovely black hue, adorned with subtle blue-ish higlights.

Nose: Releases delicious scents of crushed blackberries, licorice and cedar.

Palate: Delights with its combination of precision, tension and freshness. The tannic structure is elegant and tempers the powerful character of this bottle. The retronasal palate is delicious, bringing out the same scents of the nose. The overall impression confirms that this is a dazzling, distinguished wine with exceptional ageing potential.
